Sitting 50 meters above sea level and 800 meters from the beach, Villa il Poggiolo offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Gulf of Diana, visible from each apartment and from the garden.

The Villa is surrounded by a lush garden of olive trees, flower, and green plants. A soft lawn encircles the house and pool area.

The swimming pool measures 10 meters by 5, and includes massaging jets as you enter the pool by the stairs.

Located in the garden, the pool sits on a terrace with a panoramic view of the sea: in our pool, you can admire the sea below you as you swim!

The pool and the surrounding garden are perfect for a vacation of sun, swimming, and fun with family and friends.

Forget about parking problems: there is plenty of secure parking available in the garden area.

The villa has been recently renovated and refurnished with quality modern furniture.

The villa contains three separate apartments, all furnished with the most up-to-date technology and accessories.

The first (ViP Suite) is very big (160 square metres) and occupies the entire main floor. It can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people.

The second (ViP Panorama) is a little smaller (60 square metres) and is on the second floor. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people, maximum of 6.

The third (VIP Panorama 2) is nearly identical to the VIP Panorama apartment, both located on the second floor. It can comfortably accommodate 4 guests, up to a maximum of 5.

ViP Suite

For guests staying in the VIP Suite, a table is reserved on the lawn in the garden in front of the apartment, with a sea view. The table, which is shaded by two sun umbrellas, is 4 metres long and can comfortably seat 10 diners.

In the apartment ViP Suite there are three rooms with big beds, a main bathroom and a secondary bathroom. From every window there is a breathtaking view of the Dianese Gulf.

The kitchen is modern, with a central island in a bar-counter style. A covered terrace is accessible from the family room and kitchen. On the terrace you can have a nice breakfast overlooking the sea.

Air condition in every room.

The apartment is extremely high-tech: the living room has a 42-inch Full-HD television with a BluRay player and HD satellite receiver for all European channels (Astra and Eutelsat), a computer with Windows 7 ‘Media Center’ with remote control and wireless mouse and keyboard.

In the kitchen there is a 32-inch, Full-HD, 3D LED television with built-in satellite receiver, an Apple Mac Mini computer with remote control and wireless mouse and keyboard.

Both computers can be used for high-speed web surfing, free and with no time restrictions.

In addition, both computers have a library containing hundreds of albums which can be enjoyed thanks to a hi-fi system that plays music in every room in the apartment. 1000 Watts total power: 7 amplifiers, 22 speakers (with 20 cm-woofers, midrange and tweeters) installed in the false ceilings, plus four sub-woofers located in various rooms.

You can also surf the Internet with your pc for free and without time limit. If you have a laptop or other electronic devices (like iPhone and iPad), you will be able to to surf the Internet using our free Wi-Fi connection, which is available in the whole Villa and in part of the garden.

ViP Panorama

The ViP Panorama apartment is composed by a double room, a wide living room with two two-beds-convertible sofas, table and chairs, a well-appointed kitchenette, a bathroom and a storeroom, where you can put your baggage. Air condition.

The living room can comfortably host two people on the convertible sofa. Moreover, you can add two more single beds to the two convertible sofas, even it is less comfortable because there will be less free space in the room. In this way the apartment can comfortably host 4 people, and up to a maximum of 6 people.

ViP Panorama is a small jewel and the panoramic view terrace is its strength.

We assure you that having lunch outside on a mild summer day with such a beautiful view of the sea or having a candle light dinner admiring the Gulf of Diano Marina by night will be experiences that you will remember for the rest of your life!

At night it is possible to utilise a powerful telescope, which is at our guests' disposal to gaze at the stars and the moon.

Even ViP Panorama is very technological. HD 32-inch flat screen TV with Blu-Ray DVD player and satellite receiver with all European channels (Astra and Eutelsat). A computer with Windows 7 MediaCenter, controlled by a remote control and wireless keyboard permits the guests to choose and play MP3 songs from a selection of thousands of memorised CDs. High quality Hi-Fi System, digital BOSE Companion 5 system with sub-woofer and satellites.

ViP Panorama 2

The ViP Panorama 2 apartment is composed by a bedroom with a double bed (and an armchair, which can evolve in a chair-bed), a wide living room (with a two-beds-convertible sofa), a kitchenette and a bathroom.

In the living room there is a flat-screen TV, BluRay player, HD Satellite receiver for all European channels, a Windows computer with hi-fi speakers for web surfing and for listening to tracks from its music library.

You can surf the Internet with your pc for free and without time limit. If you have a laptop or other electronic devices (like iPhone and iPad), you will be able to to surf the Internet using our free Wi-Fi connection, which is available in the whole Villa and in part of the garden.

There are two panoramic terraces: the first one is 10 sq. m and furnished with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella, and the second one is a little bit smaller; from either of them you can admire a wonderful sea panorama.

The garden and the swimming pool

In the area inside the entrance gate there is a large car park. The house is surrounded by a lawn, several olive trees and a number of flower beds.

Outdoors, at guests’ disposal is a large wood-fired oven and a masonry barbecue.

Behind the house there is an area covered by a tent that houses a table for 20 people. In the garden there is a table-tennis table too. A number of bicycles are at guests’ disposal.

The swimming pool, garden and outdoor facilities are available for guests staying in all three of the apartments on a shared basis.

On the lawn in front of the villa there is a long table which is in contrast reserved for guests staying in the VIP Suite.

Diano Marina

It is a touristic village known since 1800 as a seaside resort and it is visited by tourists from all over the Europe.

The climate of Ponente Ligurian Riviera is famous for being delightful in summer and mild in winter. Diano Marina makes this an ideal destination for holidays throughout the year.

All along the coast, there are sandy beaches,most of which is equipped with facilities (fee required). There are also rocks and promontories with beautiful seabeds for those who want to dive.

The village is very nice, with a beautiful old town and pedestrian area.

The town center is about 2 km from the Villa il Poggiolo.

To reach the villa, you need to climb about 300 meters. It's suggested that you go by car to the village (it will take you 2 minutes) and then go to the center on foot.

You can even go to the town center on foot (it will take you about 15 minutes) or with bicycles available at Villa il Poggiolo. You should remember that you will have to deal with the climb on your way back.

We suggest you taking the car to reach the natural and historical beauties nearby us, just like the medieval village of Cervo Ligure, Hambury's botanical gardens or the marvelous villages in the inland parts of Imperia as Dolceacqua, Bussana Vecchia, Triora and Apricale. As an alternative, we suggest longer trips such as the Genoa's Aquarium (the biggest in Europe), Portofino or the 'Cinque Terre', or the nearby French Riviera.
